What You'll Be Doing:
- Optimize and innovate manufacturing processes to boost quality,
safety, and productivity.
- Lead efforts to streamline workflows and create rock-solid
standard work procedures.
- Use your time & motion analysis skills to set production
benchmarks and drive efficiency.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to enhance
product designs for manufacturability.
- Tackle production floor challenges head-on with quick
problem-solving and proactive solutions.
- Champion Lean principles to maximize production performance
throughout the shop.
- Design and implement custom fixtures to improve manufacturing
flow and cut waste.
- Stay ahead of the curve by integrating emerging technologies to
elevate production capabilities.
- Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and routings to ensure smooth
operations.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing
Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing
environment.
- Expert knowledge of fabrication processes including MIG welding,
plasma/waterjet cutting, press brakes, lathes, and other essential
equipment.
- Experience programming CNC machines, including milling and lathe
operations.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor Vault
experience is a plus).
- A strong foundation in Lean or Six Sigma principles
(certification a plus).
- A knack for reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure
flawless execution.
- Solid problem-solving abilities, mechanical aptitude, and an eye
for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
