Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative
focused on AR Insurance Follow Up.
Key Responsibilities
Manage account follow-up and collections, including processing
appeals
Review explanation of benefits (EOBs) to ensure proper
reimbursement and report issues
Collaborate with management to reduce aging accounts and
communicate with payers regarding denials
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
3+ years of experience in physician billing and collections highly
preferred
In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer
reimbursement policies
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
environment
Experience analyzing data to develop solutions for revenue
reimbursement and denial reduction
